At BASIC we have been proud to support the communities of Felixstowe, Walton and the Trimley Villages for the last 16 years.
We have offered assistance to innumerable groups, organisations and individuals.
We are now about to embark on our biggest and most ambitious project to date.
We want to employ a Parish Nurse for Felixstowe!
Walton already have a fantastic Parish Nursing Team and we thought it would be great to have one in Felixstowe too.
Working under the direction of a qualified Social Care Supervisor and a support team our nurse shall work via referrals from local GP’s and hospital.
We feel that the provision of a nurse will benefit a large number of local people and provide a valuable resource for our town.
So – we’re looking to raise £20,000 which will enable us to employ the nurse and make the project sustainable for the long term.
We’re asking individuals and businesses to contribute to the fund so that we can have our very own Felixstowe nurse who shall be able to support us all.
We feel that this service shall offer an alternative free service to the NHS for lower-level short term assistance and together we can make a REAL difference.
